Our Japanese Orange Collection has been formulated to revive, restore and firm the skin. With a selection of facial products, as well as bath and body, this range pulls together natural oils and botanical extracts to nourish and protect the skin as a whole.
Tropical Sea Buckthorn berry oil provides essential healing properties to the facial products and the hand cream in our Japanese Orange Collection. The pulp of this berry that we use in our formulas contain high concentrations of vitamins A, C and E, meaning it’s great for preventing premature aging and promoting skin elasticity to leave the skin feeling plumper. Adding our Revive & Firm Facial Serum or Fast Acting Overnight Restoring Mask to the end of a nighttime routine will help to ensure these vital vitamins provide all over benefits to the skin. Famed for its natural anti-inflammatory properties, Sea Buckthorn berry oil is well suited to even sensitive skin. Due to this gentleness on the skin, it has also been used to treat the negative effects of skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Massaging our Revive & Invigorate Shea Butter Cream onto the body after the shower whilst the skin is still slightly damp will help to renew and restore the skin.
Another prominent ingredient in our Japanese Orange Collection is the natural antimicrobial ingredient coconut oil! We use coconut oil extracted from the kennel (the meaty part) of the coconut which is packed full of rich fatty acids that help to promote the skin’s natural oil barrier. It's great at repairing and restoring this quickly as it is rapidly absorbed into the outer layer of the skin, enabling it to penetrate to the oil barrier. Having a healthy oil barrier is critical in keeping the skin hydrated, plumper and achieving a more youthful look. It’s quite light as an oil meaning our Vitamin C Repairing Day Moisturiser soaks in well to the skin without feeling greasy. This ‘miracle’ oil of the Tropics contains Vitamin E, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acid which help to restore and maintains the skin’s good bacteria. Since coconut oil is mainly composed of saturated fats, it’s also helps to lock in moisture in the skin by slowing down evaporation. Using this oil in our Japanese Orange Reviving Hand Cream is extremely beneficial because of the natural antibacterial properties.
All of these components work together to lubricate the skin and provide a healthy skin barrier to protect against water loss and to help increase water retention.
